Snowfall warning in effect for:
- Highway 3 – Hope to Princeton via Allison Pass
A Pacific frontal system will bring snow to the mountain passes. Snowfall amounts near 10 cm are forecast for today. Heavier snow is expected tonight with an additional 15 cm possible.
Snow is forecast to end early Friday morning when the system moves to the east.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
