If anyone needed proof Oliver residents have been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to get fit – all they had to do was try and pre-register for one of the orientations.
Prior to the Oliver Community Weight Room officially opening its doors to the community Monday, the Parks and Recreation department had been advertising that it would host free weight room orientations, asking those interested to get ahold of Parks and Rec to register.
However, Interim Parks and Recreation Manager Natalie Alexander notified Oliver Daily News Tuesday morning the information sessions – including those scheduled for this evening and Wednesday night – have all been filled.
“We do offer orientation sessions with through Lori Ashe,” offered Alexander. “They are $20 and people can contact our office to register.”
