586 Boxes packed!

“As the “OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Volunteer Coordinator”, I wish to send a BIG Christmas “THANK YOU” to everyone who packed a box or several for this wonderful opportunity to put a smile on a needy child’s face. These 586 boxes are going to any of the following countries: Ukraine, Senegal, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea, El Salvador, Haiti, Uruquay , Chile, Venezuela, and Costa Rica. HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS.”

Pastor Cook paid special mention that this is a community event with logistics provided by the church.
Cook says kids, parents and others helped with the project. The cartons now on their way to Penticton and then Calgary to be loaded into large metal shipping containers for destinations overseas.
