SOSS Hornets fall to top seed

soss-hornetsSouthern Okanagan Secondary School is still winless at the BC High School Girls Field Hockey Championships, being played in Surrey.

After opening the AA Girls Provincials with a 2-2 tie against Brentwood Wednesday morning, the Hornets lost to powerhouse Crofton House 5-0 Wednesday afternoon.

“It was a truly difficult challenge,” said head coach Lesley Magnus. “Goalies Ishika Gill and Marlysse Trampf made many saves for us, and played great.”

Crofton House is the top seed entering provincials.

The Hornets will be back on the field Thursday morning.
