Or in this case, an angry Osoyoos Coyotes hockey team.
After opening the season with six straight victories, Osoyoos lost its first game of the season Friday in Kelowna, falling 3-2 to the Chiefs at Rutland Arena.
Returning to Sun Bowl Arena for a Saturday tilt against Princeton, the Coyotes showed early they were out to erase the memory of that Friday loss.
The teams played the first 4:21 of the game without a whistle, most of it in the Posse end of the arena.
That domination would continue throughout the 60 minutes. The Coyotes scored three times in each of the first two periods and cruised to an 8-0 victory in front of 397 fans, many of whom took place in the chuck a duck contest during the second intermission.
Carter Robinson scored what proved to be the winner 7:13 into the opening period.
Brayden Durante and Mackenzie Wiens also scored first-period goals.
Colin Bell would score the next two, and Hunter Johnson finished the game with a natural hat trick in the blowout victory.
Jackson Glimpel enjoyed a five-assist evening.
Liam Aitken stopped all 27 shots he faced for the shutout.
The win improved the teams Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) record to 7-1, and moved Osoyoos to within two points of Okanagan Division-leading Summerland, with the Coyotes holding two games in hand.
Osoyoos is home to the Chase Heat Friday, Oct. 14 at 7:35 p.m.
