
Wildfire in OK Falls – last night fanned by strong wind – covered about 3 hectares mostly contained.
A witness says the fire started at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday. The witness says firefighters were seen protecting power lines. Callout for OK Falls FD 10:43pm. Willowbrook Fire notified for coverage.
The BC Wildfire Service said there are three firefighters attending the fire along with the local fire department.
The blaze is currently on the other side of the river, providing a natural fire guard. Above the provincial campsite.
