First report on ODN

Local fire department had been checking some reports near Road 2 when called to the Mike’s Auto Body area. While listening to this – a forest fire was showing flame at upper Testalinda.

Item called “The Oliver Situation”

1. Testalinda Creek – this is a lightning strike timber fire – lots of candling but no homes
nearby

2. Small fire near Mike’s Auto north of Oliver – now out

3. Third and worst fire is Patten-Wilson Rd area above Silica Pit. Oliver Fire Department concentrating on this. Some aerial support but very windy. “Get the people out.” – One structure gone.

4. Fourth situation unknown – Willowbrook and Osoyoos FD called for some support
