Developer Ellcar – represented by Hart Buckendahl is set to go on the meadows (6500 Meadows Drive) with site preparation almost finished. A retaining wall is presently being constructed along a pathway adjoining the oxbow on the north.

The plan – 4 new single family homes before spring to be constructed on the most northerly portion of a large tract of land – already zoned and ready to go. Buckendahl says most permissions are in place. One variance must go to council, the subdivision has to be registered, an east west roadway must be built and then time to install foundations/crawl space/fill and then on to construction.

Buchendahl says each house will be different based on the demands of the customer. Ellcar (Bill, Penny and Hart) have been busy with single family home development in the meadows area for twenty years.
