6400 Block of Tuc-el-nuit Drive (between McKinney Rd and Eastside Avenue)
Accident involving a boom truck – wires from several homes pulled away from the buildings and a couple of poles had to be replaced.

Seeking comment from FortisBC Electrical Division.

Neighbour: It happened about 7:30 am Wednesday – truck left FortisBC yard proceeding south – hit one then two overhead lines (boom extended). Took till after 4pm to get power back to homes in that area (5-6) – All utilities will have to check their connections (cable, phone etc.) for possible re-installation.
