Werner and I were hiking up Wolf Cub road yesterday (Monday, July 26) morning when we came upon a lightning strike that was smoldering. So I call it in and was at the Forestry Department told that they would send a crew right away. So I taught sometimes today.
It takes us about one (1) hour to hike down. We had just gotten into our SUV when the crew pulled in.
So we are proud to say THANK YOU to Randy from the Forestry Department, for the fast response and to Jordan (he called to get more details on the location) and his other crew member for their patience and good work.
