Endocrine System
A very essential set of control organs in our body is the endocrine system. It is a communication network that uses chemical messengers called hormones to reach every cell by way of the blood stream. The pituitary, thyroid, pancreas, thymus, hypothalamus, adrenal, ovaries and testes glands are part of this system. The hormones maintain a liveable level of salt, water and sugar in your body. They produce physical growth and sexual maturation and have a lot to do with powerful emotions like affection, anger, joy and despair.
Without the controls and communication paths of the nervous and endocrine systems the human body could not function. It is absolutely marvelous how every part of the human body works together in a complicated but coordinated way. I know very little about all this but I do know that such a complex, intricate mechanism came by design, not chance. Praise the Lord!
