Where: The start is at the Old Ferry Docks in West Kelowna at the end of Old Ferry Wharf Road. The course runs parallel to the north side of the bridge and finishes at Hot Sands Beach in Kelowna’s City Park.
Highway to Healing Director Riley Martin aims to be the first high-level paraplegic to complete the annual swim across Lake Okanagan Saturday (July 16).
As motivation and as an opportunity to raise funds, we will be asking for donations for his swim. We will only ask you to follow through with your donation to H2H if he completes the 2.1 kilometre swim from West Kelowna to Kelowna within his goal time. Every donor will receive a tax credit receipt for their charitable donation to us.
