One of our most interesting features – one that many readers are attracted to is the Comment Section.

Not bragging but ODN has more comments on pictures and stories than any on-line blog, website that I have seen south of Kelowna.

Nothing accepted that tends to “diss” another person.

Fair comment is any statement that discusses the issue presented in a fair manner.

Personal attacks against anyone are discouraged.  At certain times a reader is asked to reveal who they are as to location and contact information. Nothing about that is strange to journalism. 99% of those who comment on ODN are known to me. They know the rules.

Publisher has the sole responsibility for content of any kind and everything on this website is approved.

ODN is a business and I have a fiduciary responsibility to that business, its survival and to advertisers (many) that rely heavily on the timeliness of publication.
