Environment Canada meteorologist Lisa Coldwells:

“The fire danger is extremely low,”

“It is also helpful for people in the agricultural sector because it was so dry through the spring that we were in a true moisture deficit in all the soil. Now we have seen a couple weeks of cool and showery weather, it helps the soils regain the moisture.”
