We are thrilled to announce that the much anticipated renovation of the Oliver Community Centre weight-room will begin as of July 2016, with the expected completion date at the end of November 2016.

Bids closed on May 27, 2016. The winning bid was awarded to 3Bar Construction ($182,605.50).

The renovation will include 35ft X 40ft addition to the existing weight room, an updated layout and some new equipment to allow the Society to meet the needs of its growing membership.

The weight-room will have to be closed for these renovations because it will involve extensive work to the public areas. The Society will work to accommodate the needs of the community, by moving some of the weight-room equipment temporarily into Meeting Room 1 until renovations are completed. Members and those who wish to drop-in will be able to do so during office hours only.
