Expect no mail service next week

A Canada Post strike or lock out could begin after Canada Day.

Members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) are in a legal strike position beginning July 2 and Canada Post could also lock workers out at that time.

Currently, contract negotiations are continuing. The two sides have been trying to reach a new labour agreement for more than six months.
