Erwin Schaffrick

Mar 24, 1934 – June 16, 2016

On Thursday, June 16 Erwin Schaffrick passed away peacefully at McKinney Place in Oliver. He was born on March 24, 1934 in Janushew, Poland. He was an orchardist, worked at Co-op Packing House, BC True Fruits, Drayton Valley and Fort St. John oil fields.

Erwin will be sadly missed by his wife, Susan, his stepson Jason (Bridget), sisters Margaret, Trudy (John), Hanna (Larry) and Ursula (Leo), brothers Alfred (Jill), Richard (Linda) and Harry (Janice) and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Otto, his mother Alice, and brother-in-law Miles Lewis.
We are thankful to Dr. Hamilton, the staff of McKinney Place and John Nunes for their unending care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral at Erwin’s request. His ashes will be spread according to his wishes. Please donate to your own favorite cause.
