The Oliver Tennis Club held its first tournament of the season on Saturday, May 28.

This was a mixed event with the winner among the female participants, Nieves Windley of Oliver, also taking the winning position over-all.   (Nieves in orange tunic) The top honours among male participants went to Ian Christie of Rock Creek.  The tournament drew tennis players from around the region from Rock Creek to Summerland to enjoy the attractive setting of the Oliver Tennis Courts.
