South Okanagan Chamber of Commerce Launches New Chamber Coffee Connections
Bringing business leaders together with policy makers
The South Okanagan Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the first of many “Chamber Coffee Connections” at the OK Falls Hotel on May 27, 2016 at 8am.
“Getting our business owners in front of policy makers is a priority for the chamber,” says president Corrie Adolph. “It is important that our political leaders know what our issues are, and the more business owners that show up and speak up, the more influence we have.”
The free event is sponsored by Interior Savings Okanagan Falls and will feature a question and answer period with Member of Parliament Richard Cannings and Regional District “D” Director Tom Siddon.
Denise Blashko, the chamber’s Executive Director, says “The reason we are holding a breakfast meeting is so that business owners from Osoyoos, Oliver, and Okanagan Falls can participate without losing too much business time. People can come, have a free muffin and coffee, talk to the people we elect to represent our interests, and be back at work by 9 – 9:30 am.”
Other Chamber Coffee Connections will be held throughout the year in Oliver and Osoyoos.
