I would like to take this opportunity to formally announce I have bought Oliver’s Bakery & Deli from Wayne & Dianna Jones.

We will be closing May 19th for a few weeks as we under go some renovations in adding some new equipment and display cases and we plan for an early June re-opening under our new name Big Al’s Bakery & Deli.

I am truly excited & proud to be able to continue to offer the people of Oliver & the South Okanagan our extensive lines of Baked from Scratch products from our recipe book at the former Oliver SuperValu Bakery department including our signature cakes and our team of master bakers along with Oliver’s Bakery & Deli recipe’s and products that have been so popular through the years. In combining both SuperValu’s & Oliver’s Bakery & Deli recipe books we can offer our customers the absolute finest quality baked from scratch products you’ll find anywhere.

Along with our baked from scratch product we will also be adding our fresh Deli counter with sliced meats & cheeses and providing our all occasion deli platters. We also will continue with our breakfast & lunch menu’s from our grill.

I want to thank everyone who has stopped to talk with me and has shown almost as much excitement and enthusiasm as I have for our new venture and I look forward to our opening day and seeing all of you there in early June.

Lastly, I wish Wayne & Dianna Jones all the best in their future endeavour’s. I feel so fortunate to be able to take over such a well run & respected business. You can see the pride the Jones have in their business and its my goal to be able to continue in that commitment to excellence and serve the people of Oliver & the South Okanagan the best product moving forward.

We will announce our opening day once we get all set up in our new location.
