Missing man found dead

On May 10, 2016 at 3:30 P.M. the person that was reported missing May 6th was located deceased in a remote rural area of Osoyoos.

Foul play is not suspected in the death and the BC Coroner’s Service has taken lead of the investigation.

Police have confirmed the body of Kees Van Egmond has been found on Tuesday afternoon “in a remote rural area of Osoyoos.”

The 76-year-old was last heard from a week ago. The missing senior  had diabetes and police said the early indication is that he perished as a result of a medical condition.
