49 year old Steve Joseph Adilard Godbout of Oliver charged April 6 with numerous offences for
incidents in 2015 and 2016 in the South Okanagan

Next court appearance June 1. Trial has been set on one charge – July 27th

RCMP spokesman Cpl. Dan Moskaluk said police are investigating the toppling of the Telus tower Thursday March 17.

Telus won’t confirm it but the cost of the toppled tower replacement is a half million dollars according to local police.

Godbout charged with with break-and-enter March 19 Saturday and possession of stolen property under $5,000 April 5th.

Godbout of no fixed address is also charged with in connection with a seperate incident involving a fire October 26 2015.

Couple of calls overnight about this situation. I checked my Telus I-pad and all works fine. When this happened is unclear – or the circumstances.

Cell tower is located at the top of Oliver Mtn. to the west of town. At night you can see a blinking red light – but not last night.
