Re: Public feedback to the Intentions Paper regarding a Protected Areas Framework for British Columbia’s South Okanagan.

The review of feedback is still ongoing as BC Parks staff continue to review submissions from a variety of sources including the web-based questionnaire, several hundred letters and emails, and over 800 postcards.  In total, more than 3,400 submissions, in one form or another, were received. Although we cannot commit to a specific timeframe, the summary report is expected to be posted publicly very soon. The results of the consultation will inform recommendations on what, if any, new land protection measures should be undertaken in the South Okanagan.
