To all of my clients in the South Okanagan,
With great excitement, I am pleased to announce that I am embarking on a new adventure.
As of April 11, I will be stepping into a new role as a remote employee of a company named Automattic. (If you are curious, more information about them here: https://automattic.com/)
My job title will be “Happiness Engineer” and I will be part of an amazing team that provides user support to eCommerce clients. I’ve also had to dust off my passport, as there is a fair bit of travelling involved with the position.
It is a full-time remote position, meaning I will still be working from Oliver – I am not going anywhere – but it does mean a change regarding my existing business. I will no longer be taking on design or website development work, and I will be making arrangements with my existing clients to find a new person to provide service.
I have been in touch with other designers and developers in our area who may be interested in taking over my work, and I have been meeting with them to talk further about how to transition some of my active clients.
Of course, there is no obligation for my clients to have to move forward with any specific person, as there are many qualified website people in the area! Please be in touch at any time to find out more, and I will be happy to pass along contact information to help make for a smooth changeover.
I sincerely appreciate the community’s support over the last number of years of business.
Our South Okanagan WordPress Meetup is continuing and looking for new members, so if you have any interest in learning about WordPress, sign up and come to our free get-togethers here in Oliver, once per month, at the Oliver Bakery. (http://www.meetup.com/South-

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for your business and support over the past number of years.
Thank you,
