Here is what I know: When the ORRI project was taking place a couple of years ago* (actually seven years ago) – the water supply to the Forbes Farm was affected. Temporary measures had to be taken for a water supply. The new equipment is in a test phase with all concerned hoping this is the answer.

The paddle-wheelers seen in the top allow for unrestricted water to head up the pipes to the pump house and then on to the farm over the hill. I assume a new line was installed and the pathway has been seeded for grass.

*This system actually feeds two farms – a slice along the  river is owned by Art and Vic Dias.
