RCMP have finally released some details of the allegations against a former Osoyoos mountie who’s accused of violating the force’s code of conduct.

Amit Goyal is alleged to have engaged in disgraceful or disorderly conduct three times, and to have twice made false, inaccurate or misleading statements to another officer, according to information recently posted on the force’s website.

He has been suspended with pay since 2013 and is still awaiting a hearing, which had been set for Tuesday.
