Earlier today a light plane owned by an Alberta man had difficulty landing at Oliver’s airport with strong winds thrusting the plane off the tarmac onto softer ground.

Pictures at top indicates damage to plane. Picture below shows where the plane was landing (cone) and where it finally stopped in the dirt with the prop bent out of shape.

The male pilot and a female passenger shaken up but okay.
