RE: RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SCHOOL CLOSURES IN OSOYOOS

As was stated by the Board of trustees School District # 53 , these recommendations are to address potential deficits in SD # 53. It is clearly a district deficit that is being put solely on the Town of Osoyoos.
We feel to allow proper consultation and proper due process , more time with every stakeholder is essential. Please consider a one year postponement.
The SAVE OUR SCHOOLS committee respectfully asks for a delay in any school closures to allow for district wide solutions to be accurately researched and cost analysis completed.
We look forward to working collaboratively with School District # 53 to ensure K-12 Educations stays in Osoyoos .
