Richard (Dick) Ritco

May 4, 1927 – Feb 17, 2016

It is with deep sadness that the family of Richard (Dick) Thomas Ritco announces his passing on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Dick was born on May 4, 1927 in Grand Forks, B.C. He is survived by his loving wife, Viola, of 64 years; his two daughters, Marlene Tolman (Ray)
and Debbie Rosenau (Larry); son Larry; granddaughters, Jennifer and Julia; grandsons, Jordy and Jason; his great-granddaughter Sophia, and great-grandsons, Jesse and Keaton; his brother Pete, sister Ollie, and many nieces and nephews. Dick was a long time resident of Oliver and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and getting together with his “coffee buddies”. He worked for 14 and 1/2 years at the Oliver Sawmill and then continued his years of working at the Weyerhaeuser Mill at Okanagan Falls. A grave side service held at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery today.
