I would like to comment on the ongoing allegations that the District was inappropriate and disingenuous in determining the capacity of SOSS.  When the school was originally being renovated, the Tech Ed and Music buildings were not included in the totals because they did not require any renovations.  Those spaces account for 175 new seats that were not part of the original capacity.  After the fire, the Ministry approved a rebuild of SOSS in the same footprint for 550 students.  This also did not include the Tech Ed wing or the Music building as they were not damaged in the fire.
