Tinhorn Creek Vineyards is pleased to announce the reopening of its winery restaurant Miradoro on March 1, after their annual two-month closure for the winter months. The five-time gold winner of the Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards, led by Executive Chef Jeff Van Geest and Restaurateur Manny Ferreira, offers modern wine country cuisine paired with Tinhorn Creek wines and panoramic views of the southern Okanagan Valley.
Paying homage to the bounty of the Okanagan, Miradoro’s new spring menu combines the culinary traditions of the Mediterranean with fresh local produce, meat and grains, as well as Ocean Wise seafood. Try the seared albacore tuna tataki with buttered popcorn polenta, fennel and bresaola; or the rabbit sugo con papperdelle zafferano – braised rabbit with sweet peas, castelvetrano olives and hand-cut saffron noodles. Chef’s three and five-course tasting menus are available for $55 or $75 per person with seasonal dishes served family style.
This year’s reopening is of special significance to the Miradoro team, as the restaurant celebrates its 5th Anniversary in March. “The last five years at Miradoro have been an incredible experience full of great food, wine, customers and co-workers,” says Chef Jeff Van Geest. “We want to thank our loyal patrons for their continued support and we look forward to many more successful years to come.”
