6kms south of Peachland
A crash on Highway 97 near Brent Road in Peachland has claimed the life of one of the drivers.
Investigators at the scene say a northbound Pontiac crossed over into oncoming traffic. It collided head-on with a five-ton rental van heading south. The driver of the Pontiac died in the accident.
The driver of the rental truck was found unconscious by emergency crews and taken to Kelowna Hospital.
