It has taken a few days of reflection for me to comment on the remark made by Brenda Dorosz regarding “animosity of SOSS students towards OSS students and increased bullying”, I’m sure I’m not the only Oliver parent to take offense to this remark.

I have three teenage boys that play hockey with Osoyoos students and have for many years, I haven’t witnessed any animosity towards the children in the two towns. The complete opposite, my boys have made amazing friends with the kids on their hockey teams and those friendships will carry forward for many years.
I have only heard positive comments from my children and their friends regarding the possibility of Osoyoos students attending SOSS.
