The Gyro Park Pier will continue the work which began with the construction of Phase ‘A’ of the Gyro Park Plaza in 2015 and completion of Phase ‘B’ in early 2016.   Subject to funding availability and Council budgetary approval,  the Advancement Study lays the ground for a shelf-ready project for final design and environmental approvals in 2016 and hopefully construction in 2017.

The new Pier will be a valuable asset to our community and tourism industry.

A final report based on the presentation will be taken to Council on February 15, 2016 for their endorsement. In the meantime we invite the public to submit comments on the proposed new Gyro Park Pier no later than 12:00 noon Friday, February 5, 2016.
