2015 Approved Budget (Town of Oliver) General – 1.862 million dollars

Increase in dollars for 2016 – another $37,240

That’s the bare bones. Water rates, Sewer rates established before the end of last year.

This budget deals mainly with capital projects:

Sprinkler system for the CPR station

New Public Works truck

Sidewalk on Spartan Street (Fairview to Rockcliffe)

A study for a round-a-bout at McKinney/Blacksage Roads

Downtown street lights

A land purchase

Work at the Cemetery – raised areas for markers

Plan for year round public access at Centennial Park
