Global BC predicting that the Liberal Government will make at least one change to reduce the cost of MSP premiums for lower income residents – mainly single parent families.

That could mean a 50 percent reduction in premiums to thousand of people/family units.

BC is the only province in Canada with this type of pay-your-way MSP premium.

ODN believes the whole system needs to be abolished and payment should be based on income level and ability to pay – not a user pay system.
