Today there was a herd of bignorns by Vaseux Lake but since they’re behind the wildlife fence it’s harder to photograph them and they spook if you stop your vehicle. I was disappointed but further up the road, past OK Falls, was a small herd of sheep, feeding right on the side of the road. They were wary too, so couldn’t get a good shot.

Re comments: Liz I have corrected copy – my fault for not seeing that as well. Goats live in Keremeos, Sheep near Vaseux. The herd on the back road to Penticton seems new to me. Almost like they are lost.
