The SOSS Hornets clearly showed that they are the best team in the south zone Wednesday as they handed Princess Margaret a serious defeat 81-53.

The Hornets came out flying as the jumped out to a 16-3 lead after the first quarter, they expanded the lead to 19 at the half 38-19. Another strong second half sealed the deal for SOSS who improved to 3-0 in league and 8-5 overall. The team was led by shooting guard Manjot Dhaliwal with 33, both Jamie Fortune and Manvir Brar had 12 points. It sounds like it was an all around great team effort. The team moves into Kelowna action this weekend at the Immaculata tournament.
