Update from RCMP – 42 year old Summerland woman dies

rcmp-logo-worksShortly after 10:00 a.m. on  Hwy 97 north of Penticton a southbound Honda CRV lost control in icy conditions and slid into Okanagan Lake.

Penticton Fire Rescue extricated the 42 year old Summerland woman from the vehicle. She sustained life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Hwy 97 has been reopened.
