Every once in a while in this techno-nerd world – the blog format on ODN upgrades to the newest and the latest and the best ?? format. This is automatic not unlike Microsoft which upgrades your computer when you are not looking often changing something unwanted.

One of the greatest features of ODN has been restored thanks to Laurena.

Press any picture to find the original size inserted into the host:

Small about 640 x 400 (sent in)

Medium about 800 by 800 (best sizing for posters)

Large feature 1500 by 1000 pixels (professionals and the publisher)

The blog and host can take it even larger but the cost of hosting such large resolution pictures is a factor.

When you press a picture with your mouse you often get to see fine detail not seen before.

Some of that was lost in the last two weeks. But the service is restored.
