Eugene Joseph Nemes

A celebration of life service for the late Eugene Nemes will be held at
2:00 P.M. Saturday December 19, 2015 at the
Air Cadet Hangar, 5856 Cessna Street, Oliver
Eugene Jospeh Nemes, 53, passed suddenly the evening of December 14 doing what he loved and surrounded by his life’s work. He is survived by his loving family including his mother Helen Nemes, son Devon and daughter Kayla (David); his granddaughter Emery; his partner Grace; ex-wife Marilyn; sister Monica and brothers Frank and John as well as many nieces and nephews who adored him.
Eugene was a diamond driller and owner of Orofino Drilling. He was a man who lived life to the fullest and with no fear.
He was an inspiration to his son and best friend Devon, who followed closely in his footsteps, much to Eugene’s pride.
To his daughter and the rest of the family, he was an unending source of strength. He thought the world of his granddaughter and never missed an opportunity to get down on the floor and play with her.
Eugene was loyal, kind and loved to be surrounded by friends and family drinking beers and sharing stories.
He will be forever missed. Egeszsegedre!
