The other day I noticed that two PO boxes at the Oliver Post Office were broken into. Not sure what action was taken.

Last night the thieves returned in a much bigger way breaking into 63 boxes.

RCMP identification officers on duty this morning looking for prints and any information to help with the investigation.

Entry gained before the 1opm shut off by putting something in the door. Once it was past 1opm the door would be locked to the outside but those inside could operate with impunity.

PO officials stated that it appears not to be thieves looking or credit card numbers or identification.

What was stolen were small parcels and Christmas Cards thought to be the best target for money and valuables.
