A five person local focus group will review all the submissions on the internet and those delivered via email on the BC government 1-2-3 plan for land management  primarily on the west side of the Okanagn Valley from the border to Skaha Lake.

MLA Linda Larson told ODN today she is very happy with the amount of participation but cannot at this time talk to the issue of how many submissions are being tabulated. Larson says that all the information will come out eventually.

The focus group – individually  – will review a package of all comments and then it will meet with Provincial Parks staff. The government is looking to the comments from the internet form as a guide as to what is the next step in an action plan.

Larson says she expects a review to be complete within a two month period with something being released at the end of January.
