George died peacefully with his family beside him following a long battle with cancer at the age of 61 years.
George was predeceased by his father Oscar Grimard in 2000.
He is survived by Denise, his common law partner; his children Tyler (Brittany), Tatum (Curtis), Timothy and their mummy and daughter Nicole; grandchildren Bentley, Emma, Gabrielle and Tanner; his loving mother Lucy; sister Diane and brothers David and Norman
Goerge challenged and embraced life, enjoying quiet days fishing, camping or exploring this country on any machine he could find.
He loved to travel to see his family in Canada, numerous trips to England and exploring Europe and more recently travels to Mexico and Cuba.
In the later years of his life he became very active with the Masons and Shriners, embracing their brotherhood and support.
George’s career was in nursing. The family are very grateful that he had his old colleagues around him at the end and for the special care that they gave him making his departure from this life so peaceful.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday November 14th, 2015 at Christ the King Catholic Church. A reception will follow at the Oliver Masonic Hall.
