On November 6th, 2015 at 550 a.m., Penticton RCMP attended to 112-2990 South Main St to assist the Penticton Fire Dept for a garage fire. There is an active investigation currently under way and a 39 year old male is in police custody. This is the same male who was released yesterday for uttering threats to City Hall. Police are currently in the process of interviewing witnesses, working with the fire department conducting on scene examination and liaising with community mental health workers.“There is a a male currently in RCMP cells facing a potential charge of Arson to Endanger Life” advises Cpl. Don WRIGGLESWORTH, “The Police will be taking all possible steps to ensure that this male remains in custody so that he will no longer have the ability to harm or endanger others”.
