This is a fish that I think is a sockeye salmon – washed up and very dead, on the beach of my home on Tuc El Nuit lake. If I am correct, then he obviously took a wrong turn at the drop structure.

Dead – usual
In Tuc-el-nuit – one for the record books. The drain on the north end is keep the spring fed lake from overflowing. Not sure that a lot of water ever goes the other way from river to lake so this lady must have decided to swim up stream and veered to the right.
