Very sad news to share.

Our long-time friend and co-host of the BC Children’s Hospital’s Miracle Weekend Telethon Brooke Malakoff died this morning at BC children’s Hospital.

Brooke was fighting congenital infantile fibrosarcoma. She was diagnosed as a teenager.

She was a tireless advocate for the hospital, always front and centre at the telethon every year.

She was surrounded by her family this morning and died peacefully.

One of her wishes was to be able to vote for the first time before she died. Elections Canada stopped by the hospital this week and granted her wish.
