Bottom of Secrest Hill at Hwy 97 Wednesday afternoon

On Wednesday, October 14th, 2015 at 03:00pm a three vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Hwy 97 North and Secrest Hill Rd. A vehicle stopped on Hwy 97, facing North was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Secrest Hill Rd. when another vehicle traveling North failed to observe the stopped vehicle on the Hwy and struck the vehicle from behind forcing it into the oncoming lane where it hit another vehicle traveling South on Hwy 97. All three vehicles suffered extensive damage and the occupants were transported to the Hospital with minor injuries. Alcohol was not a factor, charges are pending against the driver of the vehicle causing the collision.
