$1500 Search group to upgrade equipment

The Oliver Rotary Club made a donation today to Oliver, Osoyoos Search andRescue.

In keeping with its mandate to support local initiatives, the club had funds
available and chose to assist SAR. President and team leader Colleen Aven (left) and Tanja Kranz, first aid and team leader, accept the cheque from Rotary Club president Brian Goy.

Colleen said.” The new mule (pictured) doesn’t even have a radio and we want it to be able to handle a stretcher and attendant. These funds will improve our operational equipment and response capabilities”.
