A man who popped the driver side – back window out of an RCMP police cruiser will have to pay back the damages.
Marlon Orlando Wright, 39, of Oliver plead guilty to two counts of mischief under $5,000.
He was fined $744, given a suspended sentence and probation after displaying remorseĀ before a judge for his drunken action. Wright had no prior criminal record.
December 6, 2014 Oliver officers received a report of a dispute at the Park Rill Inn north of Oliver.
On the ride back to the detachment, Wright wedged his feet between the window bars and the back seat window of the police cruiser – the glass shattered.
